Olivia Longott‘s trials to sign, and stay on, a record label was amplified on numerous Love and Hip Hop episodes but she’s finally found the label worthy of her talent! The former First Lady of G-Unit has signed on with Wonda Music, the new music label formed by Grammy award winning producer, Jerry Wonda.
The two have already worked together on the track “Walk Away” and are collaborating again on her new album, Show The World, expected to be released later this year. Jerry Wonda has also produced hits for other artists like Keri Hilson, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige and Shakira amongst others.
She’s still being managed by Rich Dollaz and his Dollaz Unlimited crew; a rep for Dollaz Unlimited had this to say about Olivia:
She’s learned to value herself as a brand and that value will not be compromised by deals that shortchange her talent and knowledge of the game.
[On Olivia and Jerry working together again] Their music will tell a story that has been fine-tuned through the years; a story of struggle, dedication and extremely hard work. A combination of Wonda so grounded and Olivia’s determination, there will be nothing but amazing successes.
Cheers to Olivia’s new home!
